"Senate Democrats to Introduce Bill to Require President and Vice President to Fully Divest Personal Conflicts of Interest".
The bill won't be introduced until 2017. BTW Warren's site has a sign-up for further releases, although it asks for a lot of information so some people may not want to do it.

Date: 2016-12-16 03:32 pm (UTC)I think a couple of actions people could take at this point are to:
* contact and thank the Senators who have already indicated they'll co-sponsor the bill -- the press release lists them as "Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ben Cardin (D-Md.), Chris Coons (D-Del.), Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), and Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.)" - especially if they represent your state.
* contact their senators and congressmen who are not already on that list to ask them what their position on the proposed bill is, whether they will ask to be added as co-sponsors when the bill is introduced, and to issue a statement about the issue of conflicts of interest in the Executive branch.
As I understand it, a lot of Trump's appointees will need to be confirmed by Congress, so making representatives understand that conflicts of interest are a pretty damn big issue to voters before the confirmation hearings seems like a good idea!
