Maybe I'm just cheering myself up, but I think that a lot of Republicans are just waiting for a chance to stab Trump in the back and get away with it--including dragging out the confirmation process. They can also say "We wanted to confirm your appointees! But they didn't give us the information we needed to rubber-stamp them!" Sometimes for evil to be averted, all that has to happen is for bad men to do nothing.
