The New York Times has posted this helpful list of Senators and Representatives who voted in favor of disenfranchising over 10 million voters last night (over 3.3 million in Arizona, over 6.8 million in Pennsylvania), even after their baseless claims helped to incite an attempted coup and takeover of the US Capitol. They failed to alter the vote certification process, of course, and Biden was (re)declared the winner early this morning--but they still embraced dangerous and baseless conspiracy theories to the extent of trying to disrupt the democratic process in this country, and were evidently unfazed by the domestic terrorism they helped to incite.
If you live in Alabama, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Texas, or Wyoming, you have a Senator who voted to disenfranchise voters and overturn the result of a free and fair election. Call (or email) them and tell them what you think of them/that they need to resign/etc. (See the link above or under the cut for the list). Some voted for just Arizona, just Pennsylvania, or both.
If you live in parts of Alabama (6 districts), Arizona (4 districts), Arkansas (1 district), California (7 districts), Colorado (2 districts), Florida (12 districts), Georgia (6 districts), Idaho (1 district), Illinois (2 districts), Indiana (4 districts), Kansas (3 districts), Kentucky (1 district), Louisiana (4 districts), Maryland (1 district), Michigan (3 districts), Minnesota (2 districts), Mississippi (3 districts), Missouri (5 districts), Montana (1 district), North Carolina (7 districts), New Jersey (1 district), New Mexico (1 district), New York (4 districts), Nebraska (1 district), Ohio (5 districts), Oklahoma (5 districts), Oregon (1 district), Pennsylvania (8 districts), South Carolina (5 districts), Tennessee (7 districts), Texas (16 districts), Utah (2 districts), Virginia (4 districts), West Virginia (2 districts), or Wisconsin (2 districts), you have a Representative who voted to disenfranchise voters and overturn the result of a free and fair election. Call (or email) them and tell them what you think of them/that they need to resign/etc. (See the link above or under the cut for the list). Some voted for just Arizona, just Pennsylvania, or both.
(If you need a reminder on who your representative is, you can check here on Common Cause, which will also give you their contact info.)
Of course, if you don't live in these states/districts you can still contact these people (emphasizing that what they did is dangerous to all Americans), but be aware they likely don't care what you think if you're not able to vote for or against them. But if you do live in one of these states/districts--a number of these people (epitomized perhaps by Cruz in his speech pre-takeover) argued that they were representing the opinions and wishes of their constituents/the American people, so let them know that they absolutely are not.
