This week, I've been enjoying watching Mueller moving forward with his strategy of taking down Trump like the Mob boss he is, with the developments in the Manafort and Cohen prosecutions.
Meanwhile, this video of Trump at the G20 is surely all the evidence needed for someone to invoke section 4 of the 25th amendment. And for a little light relief, enjoy this video of It Wasn't Me, Re-released for Trump.
It's been quiet in the comm this week, but there's still some run-off election action to get involved in, and plenty of ongoing actions.
Georgia Runoff Elections
Secretary Of State Election In Georgia -- Actions
Protecting the Mueller investigation
Encourage your senators to follow Flake's lead
Call script for Congress to protest Whitaker's appointment
Other Actions
Call Republican Senators about opposing vote suppressor for Judgeship (The final vote has been delayed.)
Charity comic anthology to aid survivors of the Grenfell tower fire
Write Letters of Support for Muslim Girl Who Received Threatening Letters
Links on Voting Rights Movement
Donate to Honor Dr. Blasley as an Educator
Boycotting Fox: Call To Boycott Companies That Advertise On Fox, We Got A List and Petition
Housekeeping (the usual stuff)
Reminder that we now have a Friending Meme and a (locked) post where you can connect with others who live in the same area. We hope you find both of these posts useful!
We also have a suggestion post if there’s a topic that you’d like to see discussed but would like to ask the mods to look into. This can be anything from general information, or a how-to-do-a-thing, or something you may want to discuss as a community. Folks are welcome to post directly to the comm as always, but if you’re not comfortable/don’t have spoons, we can help too.
As we don't always get the time to pull things out of the suggestions post into their own separate posts, it may be worth checking every week (or tracking the post) to see if there's any new information you're interested in.
Also if you need help with tags, PM
redbird, who is our tag guru. Both
tassosss and I are very grateful for the help.
So, what have you all been up to in the last week or are planning to get involved in next week?

Date: 2018-12-02 12:58 pm (UTC)I believe the nomination is now considered sunk -- Senator Tim Scott said he wouldn't vote for him:

Scott plus Flake (plus Democrats) is enough to block him. So barring a wild surprise twist, he's done.
